i have written a 20minute short , and am planning another. i dont have the money to get a camera yet, and i dont know what else i can do to get prepared, does anyone know of places i can borrow cameras from?

Any local uni's around you? if they have a media course running then they most likely have equipment, I don't know if you can borrow just like that, but it might be worth looking into it, ask around... anyone you know got a camera ?

forget about renting one or borrowing one. Go to the local flea market with 50 dollars to 100 and buy you a used vhs camcorder that works. Then just shoot your film.Edit in on 2 vcrs.

join your local cine society?
in scotland we have things called media access centres where joe public can borrow kit after doing some basic cources, i dunno if you have anythin in canada like that
